Digital technology enables us to work anywhere, anytime. Moreover, it enables us to create and access information in new ways, alters the way in which we see ourselves and others, and challenges our ideas of ownership.

What is work, but when is work? … This project explores the evolving concept of work within architecture, and how experiences of work inform the design of cities as a place for and product of work in a digital age.
By drawing on expertise within anthropology on ‘the digital’ and architecture on making, the outputs from the research provide architects and anthropologists with an important introduction to the future of work.
